A Retreat for BIPOC Trauma Therapists: Healing Through Ancestral Wisdom and the Land

We are excited to announce a four-day retreat for BIPOC trauma therapists, held in Mexico, dedicated to healing through ancestral wisdom and our shared relationship with the natural world.

As therapists who hold space for others' pain every day, we rarely get the chance to turn inward and be held ourselves. This retreat is an invitation to do just that — to rest, to remember, and to reconnect with the lineages and land that shaped us.

What This Retreat Offers

Over five days, we will come together in collective space to explore healing practices rooted in ancestral wisdom, ceremony, and our relationship with nature. This is not a training or a conference — it is a chance to slow down, be nourished, and experience healing alongside others who understand the unique weight of trauma work.

Our time together will center:

  • Ancestral and lineage healing — practices that honor the wisdom, resilience, and stories carried by our ancestors

  • Connection to nature — grounding in the land as a source of healing, reciprocity, and remembrance

  • Collective care — healing in community, not isolation, alongside fellow BIPOC trauma therapists

A Special Welcome to Chicanx Providers

This retreat holds a particular welcome for Chicanx providers seeking to connect with their Mexican heritage. Space will be prioritized for those drawn to explore lineage healing and ancestral connection within a collective setting — an opportunity to reconnect with roots, culture, and identity as part of your own healing journey.

Why This Matters

Trauma therapists carry so much for others. This retreat is a chance to receive — to be witnessed, to rest in community, and to reconnect with the deeper wisdom of ancestry and land that can restore and replenish us.

We hope you will join us for this five-day journey in Mexico.

More details on dates, location, and registration to come.
