Changing the Future of Mental Health Together.

We're cultivating a movement where care is valued, clinicians are supported, and every community has access to sustainable mental health resources.

Our Vision

Reimagining Access in Mental Health Care.

A transformative mental health ecology where financial and systemic barriers no longer determine who remains in care.

Collectiva brings this vision into practice through three interconnected branches:

Honoring Care Workers

We create spaces and resources that affirm care work as vital labor and support the wellness of providers. This includes public advocacy for fair pay,  retreats, facilitated support groups, and opportunities for public engagement that offer rest, reflection, and collective learning for mental health clinicians.

Bridging Costs

We raise and distribute funds to close the financial gaps that interrupt ongoing care. Through the development of the Collectiva Mental Health Fund, we bridge the financial gaps experienced due to loss of employment, health insurance and system collapse.

Sustaining Relationships

We organize education and collective action to transform the conditions that make care fragile in the first place. This includes public workshops, listening circles, and education for new and pre-licensed clinicians. We nurture collaboration and partnerships with private practitioners to help challenge extractive labor practices, to identify barriers in care systems, and to protect ongoing therapeutic relationships.

Our Mission

Collectiva is a grassroots organization led by mental health clinicians and community stakeholders who want to change the conversation around private practice and access to care. Our work focuses on building sustainable mental health care ecologies where clinicians and clients can mutually thrive, not merely endure. We resource care workers so that care can continue therapeutic relationships even when financial hardship would otherwise force them to end. Collectiva centers  care workers who are striving toward radical equity in the mental health field.

Our Approach

Mental health Ecologies are the web of relationships, institutions, economic conditions, and collective practices that shape whether care can truly be sustained. Taking an ecological approach to whole-system healing means building communities of practice invested in new business strategies that structure and sustain the wellness of the providers within them.

Collectiva is founded on the principle of an honorable harvest: taking what is needed, and leaving enough for what must come next. In a health care system driven by greed and extractive labor practices—especially for pre-licensed clinicians—mental health workers are often excluded from shaping the very systems in which they labor. Clients are often left out of necessary and difficult conversations about equity, access, and the barriers created by private practice fees. By re-rooting in the honorable harvest, Collectiva strives to bring clients, clinicians, and systems into right relationship with one another, ensuring there is enough resources for the present and future of care.
